That's not an acrostic, Art -- just as your "anagrams" are not actually anagrams, and your "equidistant letter sequences" are not really equidistant letter sequences.

It's a pity that George Mason Elementary was unable to teach you to read or to count, Art -- a would-be ciphermonger needs to be able to do both. MoreoVER, it helps to have at least some command of some natural language.

Art would be right at home trying to solve the Zodiac ciphers - his solutions would be right at home with the typical so-called "solutions".

It's a pity that the Grand Master hasn't found some sucker to replace Liddle [sic] Marco so you can go back to your "work."
Your Petulant Paranoid persona is more than a little oVERdone, Art! I have no more connection with Marco than I do with Brent -- nor is there any connection between the two of them, as far as I know. As far as I know, neither one of them is even a Mason. I definitely am not a Mason, so I do not take orders from the Grand Master. Finally, even the Grand Master himself is a fiction, although like Trump, you are demonstrably unable to distinguish fact from fiction.

I readily concede that that inability is a VERy common attribute among Oxfordians, Art, but in your case, it is carried to an absurd extreme! Most other Oxfordians would neVER have assumed that a man traveling from New Haven to New York City would board a nonstop flight from Boston to Los Angeles, for instance. Nor, to my knowledge, are most Oxfordians blithely unaware of the existence of institutions like branch banks, direct deposit, and the U. S. Postal Service. Nor do most Oxfordians, despite their regrettable linguistic shortcomings, think (usual disclaimer) that _vier_ is Spanish for "four". Such considerations lead one to wish that George Mason Elementary had been more successful in its pedagogical mission. HoweVER, according to the old adage, one cannot make a silk purse out of a sow's ear -- nor, apparently, can one make a competent reader (let alone a cryptographer) out of the other end of a horse.

If you have adopted (t)Rump's illiterate tweets as your arbiter for English usage and orthography, Art, then I am afraid that you have been woefully misled -- (t)Rump is also an ignorant, illiterate hemidemisemiglot whose English is scarcely any better than yours. I am *not* "well connected to the Freemasons", Art; being a Mason is not hereditary. And, since (as I said) I don't know either Brent or Marco, I have no way of knowing how "well connected to the Freemasons" either one may be; howeVER, as far as I know, neither one is a Freemason. 2 Chronicles 25:12 to 26:16 King James Version (KJV)
......................................................
And other ten thousand left alive did the [C]hildren of Judah carry away captive, and brought them unto the top of the rock, and cast them down from the top of the rock, that they all were broken in pieces. But the soldiers of the army which Amaziah sent back, that they should not go with him to battle, fell upon the cities of Judah, from Samaria even unto Bethhoron, and smote three thousand of them, and took much spoil. Now it came to pass, after that Amaziah was come from the slaughter of the Edomites, that he brought the gods of the children of Seir, and set them up to be his gods, and bowed down himself before them, and burned incense unto them. Wherefore the anger of the Lord was kindled against Amaziah, and he sent unto him a prophet, which said unto him, Why hast thou sought after the gods of the people, which could not deliver their own people out of thine hand? And it came to pass, as he talked with him, that the king said unto him, Art th[O]u made of the king's counsel? forbear; why shouldest thou be smitten? Then the prophet forbare, and said, I know that God hath determined to destroy thee, because thou hast done this, and hast not hearkened unto my counsel. Then Amaziah king of Judah took advice, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us see one another in the face. And Joash king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that was in Lebanon, and trode down the thistle. Thou sayest, Lo, thou hast smitten the Edomites; and thine heart lifteth thee up to boast: abide now at home; why shouldest thou meddle to thine hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee? But Amaziah would not hear; for it came of God, that he might deli[V]er them into the hand of their enemies, because they sought after the gods of Edom. So Joash the king of Israel went up; and they saw one another in the face, both he and Amaziah king of Judah, at Bethshemesh, which belongeth to Judah. And Judah was put to the worse before Israel, and they fled every man to his tent. And Joash the king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, at Bethshemesh, and brought him to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the corner gate, four hundred cubits. And he took all the gold and the silver, and all the vessels that were found in the house of God with Obededom, and the treasures of the king's house, the hostages also, and returned to Samaria. And Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah lived after the death of Joash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel fifteen years. Now the rest of the acts of Amaziah, [F]irst and last, behold, are they not written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel? Now after the time that Amaziah did turn away from following the Lord they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem; and he fled to Lachish: but they sent to Lachish after him, and slew him there. And they brought him upon horses, and buried him with his fathers in the city of Judah. Then all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the room of his father Amaziah. He built Eloth, and restored it to Judah, after that the king slept with his fathers. Sixteen years old was Uzziah when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and two years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Jecoliah of Jerusalem. And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Amaziah did. And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in th[E] visions of God: and as long as he sought the Lord, God made him to prosper. And he went forth and warred against the Philistines, and brake down the wall of Gath, and the wall of Jabneh, and the wall of Ashdod, and built cities about Ashdod, and among the Philistines. And God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians that dwelt in Gurbaal, and the Mehunims. And the Ammonites gave gifts to Uzziah: and his name spread abroad even to the entering in of Egypt; for he strengthened himself exceedingly. Moreover Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the corner gate, and at the valley gate, and at the turning of the wall, and fortified them. Also he built towers in the desert, and digged many wells: for he had much cattle, both in the low country, and in the plains: husbandmen also, and vine dressers in the mountains, and in Carmel: for he loved husbandry. Moreover Uzziah had an host of [F]ighting men, that went out to war by bands, according to the number of their account by the hand of Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the ruler, under the hand of Hananiah, one of the king's captains. The whole number of the chief of the fathers of the mighty men of valour were two thousand and six hundred. And under their hand was an army, three hundred thousand and seven thousand and five hundred, that made war with mighty power, to help the king against the enemy. And Uzziah prepared for them throughout all the host shields, and spears, and helmets, and habergeons, and bows, and slings to cast stones. And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong. But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for h[E] transgressed against the Lord his God, and went into the temple of the Lord to burn incense upon the altar of incense.

......................................................
But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for h[E] transgressed against the Lord his God, and went into the temple of the Lord to burn incense upon the altar of incense.

clue (n.) 1590s, spelling variant of clew "a ball of thread or yarn," in this sense with reference to the one Theseus used as a guide out of the Labyrinth. The purely figurative sense of "that which points the way" is from 1620s.

yarn (n.) Old English gearn "spun fiber, spun wool," from Proto-Germanic *garnan (source also of Old Norse, Old High German, German garn, Middle Dutch gaern, Dutch garen "yarn"). The phrase to spin a yarn "to tell a story" is first attested 1812, from a sailors' expression, on notion of telling stories while engaged in sedentary work such as yarn-twisting.

No, you're not, Art. A scientist would not think (usual disclaimer) that the watt is a unit of energy.

More to the point, a scientist who has advocated a position that later proves to be untenable in the fact of oVERwhelming evidence would change his or her position, Art. Your ridiculous delusion that _Don Quixote_ was written in English was shown to be utterly untenable -- I pointed out some of the most egregious howlers in Shelton's (mis)translation of Cervantes, as well as some of the bawdy puns in Spanish that Shelton did not even *notice*, let alone translate. There is also the publication history, of course. Yet in your charmingly naïve credulity, you continue to believe the delusions of Carr, a certifiable crackpot! No scientist would react in that way. In fact, your (and Carr's) delusion is even less tenable than "Dr." Faker's delusion that the Apollo lunar landings were faked, yet even Faker -- who certainly is no scientist -- backed off on his lunar landing claims in the face of oVERwhelming evidence.

<<That's because you haven't a clue what credible evidence is, Art.>>
But I can tell when the Trust is simply "spinning a yarn," Dave.
-------------------------------------------
https://www.etymonline.com/word/yarn

clue (n.) 1590s, spelling variant of clew "a ball of thread or yarn," in this sense with reference to the one Theseus used as a guide out of the Labyrinth.

I do wish that you would learn to read English, Art. First, "watt" did not appear in uppercase, indicating clearly -- to the literate, at any rate -- that the sense was that of joule/sec. rather than anyone's name.

Second, you have the wrong James Watt -- the James Watt for whom the unit of power was named is the Scottish inventor born in 1736, not James G. to get out of that. I got a chance to make a comeback in my career. And I'm
giving him one. I'm giving him the last role he never got."
That's *still* the wrong Landau, Art. The physicist was *Lev Davidovich* Landau, not Martin Landau. MoreoVER, Lev Davidovich Landau was some two decades older than Martin Landau. He was of a different nationality (Soviet rather than American), and he followed a different profession. But as the Peter Gay farce demonstrated, you are VERy easily hopelessly confused by coincidences of name, even if the persons in question do not share nationality, age, middle initial, or profession.

Watt, the Reagan administration political hack born in 1938. But as the Peter Gay farce demonstrated, you are VERy easily hopelessly confused by coincidences of name, even if the persons in question do not share nationality, age, middle initial, or profession.
